Masyarakat sangat mementingkan kenyamanan termal pada suatu ruangan untuk memaksimalkan produktivitasnya. Water Cooled Chiller merupakan salah satu alat pendingin udara yang cocok digunakan untuk kenyamanan gedung-gedung besar seperti mall ataupun hotel. Perawatan secara teratur pada water cooled chiller akan menyebabkan masa kerja dari suatu chiller semakin panjang. Salah satu perawatan yang paling umum dilakukan yaitu descaling. Descaling merupakan proses perawatan pembersihan kerak. Diperoleh hasil analisis efisiensi refrigerasi pada saat setelah dilakukan descaling mengalami peningkatan dibandingkan sebelum descaling dengan rata-rata hasil sebelum descaling yaitu 62,02% dan setelah descaling sebesar 62,26%. Kapasitas pendinginan air pun mengalami kenaikan. Konsumsi daya dari pengaruh perawatan descaling mengalami penurunan, dengan konsumsi daya sebelum dilakukan perawatan descaling sebesar 365,36 kW dan hasil rata-rata setelah perawatan descaling yaitu 332,63 kW.
Deskripsi Alternatif :Society places great importance on thermal comfort in a room to maximize their productivity. Water Cooled Chiller is an air conditioner that suitable for the convenience of large buildings such as malls or hotels. Regular maintenance of a water cooled chiller could make the working life of a chiller longer. One of the most common treatments is descaling. Descaling is a treatment process to clean crusts. The results of the analysis of the refrigeration efficiency after descaling treatment increased if it compared to the condition before doing descaling treatment with an average result before descaling treatment that is 62,02% and after descaling treatment which is 62,26%. The cooling capacity of water has also increased. The power consumption from the effect of descaling treatment has decreased, with the power consumption before descaling treatment that is 365,36 kW and the average result after the descaling treatment which is 332,63 kW.
